DFS NHL Picks: May 12-13, 2017

Pekka Rinne is 8-2 with 2 SO in the 2017 playoffs
so far.
Center:

Ryan Johansen - Nashville Predators: Johansen struggled in the second round against the St. Louis Blues, with one assist in five games before notching two points (one goal, one assists) in a 3-1, Game 6 win. He led Predators forwards with three points (one goal, two assists) in their first-round series win against the Ducks last season.

Wingers:

Jakob Silfverberg - Anaheim Ducks: Silfverberg ranks tied for 10th in scoring and tied for third in goals in the playoffs this season, and has points in five of his last six games (5-3–8).

Bryan Rust - Pittsburgh Penguins: Rust scored the game-winner in a 2-0 victory against the Washington Capitals in Game 7 on Wednesday. He's playing on a line with center Sidney Crosby and wing Jake Guentzel, who leads the playoffs with nine goals.

Defensemen:

Erik Karlsson - Ottawa Senators: had one goal and four assists in Games 5 and 6 to close out Ottawa's second-round series against the New York Rangers. Plus, he leads remaining defensemen in ice time per game (28:57) this playoffs.

Sami Vatanen - Anaheim Ducks: Despite missing part of the second round due to injury, but he does have 16 blocked shots in his past five games. In three games vs. Nashville in the regular season, Vatanen recorded three assists, three blocked shots and 11 SOG.

Goaltender:

Pekka Rinne - Nashville Predators: Rinne stopped 23 of 24 shots in Game Six and now owns an 8-2 record with two shutouts in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs (1.37 GAA, .951 SV%, 2 SO).
